Welcome to the DCA Information wiki.

This wiki is intended as a simple, concise resource for individuals considering Sodium Dichloroacetate (DCA) as an agent to reverse the Warburg Effect

The editors are not physicians and offer no medical advice. Remember that DCA is a serious drug and side effects include but are not limited to Tumor Lysis Syndrome (potentially fatal), hypoglycemia (potentially fatal), peripheral neuropathy and hepatotoxicity.  However, to keep things in perspective, it should be noted that 44% of Medicor's patients reported no side effects from DCA use.  It is not a cytotoxic drug and therefore, much more gentle than chemotherapy.

Information contained in this wiki is based on positive reports of DCA use by cancer patients and also the problems which have been encountered, and is assembled here for convenience and for clarity. The wiki will focus on:

The "Journal Articles" Folder in the Sidebar contains articles on DCA published in medical journals.

The best resource for questions and discussion on this subject is http://www.theDCAsite.com.

The best publicly available statistics on DCA and cancer have been compiled by the Medicor Cancer Centres in Canada
